IV Services

Kaup Pharmacy IV works with individuals and medical teams on a convenient delivery mode for IV medication, dosage and lifestyle. Delivery modes available range from elastomeric pumps, infusion pumps and IV drip. IV pharmacist is available to consult throughout the duration of the IV therapy.

Elastomeric Pump System

We use an elastomeric pump system for antibiotic or chemotherapy therapies. They are lightweight, easy-to- use and no electronic device is needed. The elastomeric pump system was designed for increase mobility, and does not does not require programming or drip counting.

Clinical Pharmacy Monitoring

In addition to providing education and care, pharmacy personnel perform evaluations and assessments of patient nutritional needs, pharmacokinetic dosing, patient’s clinical status, and treatment. Direct communication with the prescribing physician can be throughout treatment so changes or adjustments to treatment can be made for the duration of infusion therapy.
